Pots For Tots: tech advisory & operations automation

Pots For Tots

Pots For Tots needed a technical partner to make sense of the stack and remove repetitive manual work across orders, fulfilment, and customer comms, without hiring a full engineering function.

The brief

A growing e-commerce brand running on a stack of off-the-shelf tools (storefront, fulfilment, comms, finance) needed a technical partner to make the pieces work together without hiring an in-house engineering team. Manual handoffs were eating the team's time and introducing small errors at scale.

What we shipped

  • Automation workflows: Make.com flows connecting the storefront, fulfilment, and back-office tools so common operational tasks run without anyone copy-pasting between dashboards.
  • Custom scripts: bespoke code for the cases where off-the-shelf tools couldn't bridge the gap, kept small and replaceable.
  • Storefront work: tactical changes to the Shopify storefront where they unblocked an automation or improved the customer flow.
  • Tech advisory: ongoing guidance on tooling choices, vendor evaluations, and what to build versus buy as the business grew.

Outcome

The day-to-day operations stack is leaner and more reliable. Manual handoffs that used to cost hours a week now run in the background, and the team has a technical partner to turn to when the next "we need a tool for X" question comes up.
