The platform needed senior engineering capacity across product UI, backend services, infrastructure tooling, and developer artifacts as it scaled toward enterprise customers.

The brief

A real-time streaming SaaS scaling toward enterprise customers needed senior engineering across product UI, backend services, infrastructure tooling, and developer-facing artifacts. Capacity that flexes with the roadmap, not a fixed-scope rebuild.

What we shipped

  • Frontend lead: main developer on the Vue 3 product app and the admin app. Component architecture, in-product code-editor experiences, observability.
  • Backend contributions: ongoing work across the Python and FastAPI services, covering controller, app, and tenant-isolation surfaces.
  • Infrastructure-as-code: end-to-end refactor of the public Terraform provider so customers can manage their pipelines as code.
  • Developer tooling: work on the public developer SDK and supporting docs, used by customers to build typed pipeline transforms.
  • GEO & LLM readiness: structured the public site and docs so generative search engines and AI agents can find, parse, and act on the product without hitting a JavaScript wall.
  • Team lead: people-lead on the engineering team, including PR reviews and onboarding engineers onto Claude Code workflows.

Outcome

Engagement is ongoing. The platform continues to ship across product, infrastructure, and developer-facing surfaces, with us as the lead frontend partner and a contributor across the rest of the stack.
