The brief
An established e-commerce brand wanted real signal on where AI fits in the business, the implementation work to actually ship it, a mobile app built from scratch, and engineers in the supporting disciplines (DevOps/SecOps, e-commerce framework, PIM) without bringing every specialism in-house.
What we shipped
- AI advisory & implementation: lead the conversation on where AI moves revenue, customer experience, or operations, and deliver the implementation work that comes out of those decisions.
- Mobile app, built from scratch: designed and built the mobile app end-to-end as our own workstream. Architecture, implementation, release pipeline, the lot. This wasn't capacity on someone else's project: we owned the build.
- DevOps & SecOps: engineers embedded into the team to harden infrastructure, deployment, and security posture.
- E-commerce framework: developers working in the platform itself on the parts of the storefront and checkout that need senior attention.
- PIM: engineers working in the product information layer that everything downstream relies on.
Outcome
Engagement is ongoing and active. The mobile app is ours end-to-end. AI work is moving from advisory into production, and the extended team gives the brand senior coverage across the disciplines they need without committing to the headcount.
